A westbound ballast train for Grand Island, NE, heads thru California Junction in far western Iowa. This day in 2005, 3 SD40's power this ballast train from Janesville, WI. California Jct is where the line to Sioux City breaks away from the East-West main thru Iowa. The UP 3300 is was stored in 2010, unsure what the unit's current status is now? Scanned Slide from 11-10-2005.
