Remarks & Notes
Among North America's first HEP-equipped passenger diesels were the six MLW RS18s modified by Canadian National in 1967 for its upgraded "Tempo" service connecting Toronto with Windsor and Sarnia, ON, with new lightweight aluminum coaches. On a summer afternoon, bright red CN 3152 and its train awaited riders beneath the trainshed of Toronto Union Station
