Remarks & Notes
An empty Brice coal train climbs the Clinchfield loops south of Altapass in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina as it heads back to the mines of West Virginia to get more black rock. It is exiting Rocky Tunnel #2 and about to go through Rocky #1 as it makes its ascend through the impressive loops. The scene is complete with the CRR signal for the siding at North End Rocky, which starts on the other side of the tunnel, and codeline still clinging to the side of the mountain.
