In 2018, the Blonay-Chamby Railroad/Museum is celebrating 50 years of operation. On this day, for photographers and filmers there was organised a "Mega Steam Festival" with 10 one meter gauge steamlocomotives. Before the midday break, all 10 locomotives are lined up with the engineers and firemen in front of each locomotive. The first, tiny locomotive is privately owned G 2/2 "Ticino" from 1889, "found" in a basement in Mendrisio and made operational again in 2016 by Martin Horath (second from left).
