A rainbow of locomotives power BNSF’s Pasco to Kansas City freight west of Avon, Montana, at 11:10 a.m. on September 12, 2010. Powering the 80-car train eastbound toward a climb over Mullan Pass is BNSF GE C44-9W No. 729 in warbonnet colors, BNSF C44-9W No. 4536, former Conrail C40-8W, now Norfolk Southern No. 8323, former Santa Fe EMD SD75M No. 8211 and Montana Rail Link EMD SDP40 No. 290.
