The Blonay-Chamby Railroad/Museum is celebrating the 50th anniversary in 2018. On this day, there was a special event for photographers and filmers, with the 5 operational steam locomotives of the Blonay-Chamby and the 5 invited guest locomotives. The two Blonay-Chamby locomotives G 3/3 # 5 "Bercher", built in 1890 by Grafenstaden/France for the Lausanne-Echallens-Bercher (LEB), and the G 3/3 # 6, built in 1901 by SLM for the Jura-Simplon Brünig line as # 909, from 1921 to 1943 running for the Bière-Apples-Morges railway (BAM), then for the Renfer company at Biel (shunting duties) till 1967. Operational for the Blonay-Chamby since 1971.
