GBW 308 (an Alco RS-3 rebuilt as a RS-3m or RS-20) arrives at Kewaunee, WI on a relatively snow free day in January of 1980. Known as the Boat Train, the Alco's will soon be switching the yard and the ferry before heading back to Green Bay. Little evidence of a RR is left here as the line has been torn up and the yard and dock are now home to lakefront houses. The 308 still survives as far as I know, owned by a private individual and kept at the Monticello, IL RR Museum. Fran Wiener photo from my collection.
