Remarks & Notes |
Utah Ry. 6060 is spotting some empty tank cars on the Wildcat siding for crude oil loading. They will push the empties into the east end of the siding as seen here, and then run down to the west end and pull the loads for return to Martin Yard. In the process that neat Australian SD50 leader will become the trailing unit. Wildcat was a pretty busy spot in 2013 what with the oil and coal loading both very active. Today it is much different. Oil loading is a thing of the past and all of the associated equipment has been removed. The coal loader is quiet too as the Utah Ry. lost its last customer in early 2017 and has essentially left the area save for some car storage. |
