Remarks & Notes
The waiting passengers at Brewster, NY, prepare to board a Grand Central-bound Harlem Line train on a cold fall morning, as FL9 5042 and its equipment arrive from the Putnam Junction coach yard. Conrail was the contract operator for the MTA at the time, with Metro North, high level platforms, and electrification all being off in the future.
