Remarks & Notes |
An eastbound Long Branch to New York local makes its way over the calm waters of Raritan Bay on a beautiful Spring morning. The train is seen crossing NJ Transit's Raritan River Drawbridge spanning Perth Amboy and South Amboy, NJ. This aging bridge was built in 1908 by the PRR and is the sole rail link for 17 of the 20 communities served by the North Jersey Coast Line. |
