Remarks & Notes |
The Lonely Local
A local freight glides over Sinnemahoning Creek at Keating on the Norfolk Southern Buffalo Line. Built as the Sunbury & Erie Railroad (which hung a left westward at Emporium, whereas the Buffalo Line continues north), this stretch of railroad traverses some of the most remote parts of Pennsylvania. Traffic up here is sparse--a coal train every few days and this local to Driftwood. |
