Remarks & Notes |
The Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, Colorado has some great vintage engines. Here we see the Denver Leadville & Gunnison No. 191, built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1880 complete with congdon stack , and the Rio Grande Southern No. 7 'Galloping Goose' which was built in 1929. The museum prides itself on running their vintage steam engines around their grounds during the summer. If you are in Colorado its a must-see museum. |
