| Conrail PR-32 shoves into Port Reading Yard after completing a round trip to Oak Island Yard in Newark. A spring nor'easter is in the process of depositing more snow on the region after several other storms had occurred in past weeks. The conductor was kept busy clearing switches of snow as the train was slowly shoved into the yard. At this moment the engineer has "opened them up" to get the heavy consist started for one long shove. The consecutively numbered SD45-2s responded with a bit of black exhaust while coaxing the train into motion. |
