Between 1984 and 1988 the Cape Cod & Hyannis Railroad operated seasonal excursion service between Hyannis and a Boston transit connection at Braintree. During the first season, CC&H GP9 1210 led an eastbound train along the Cape Cod Canal at Bourne, MA. The locomotive is ex-New Haven, still on home rails.
