Remarks & Notes
A pair of the New Haven's EF-4 class GE electrics prepare to depart Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven for Oak Point Yard in the Bronx on train NG-1. Electric freight operation here had less than a year to go, as Penn Central would dieselize ex-NH freights to and from New York in early 1969, and these boxy ex-Virginian motors would be transferred to former Pennsy territory to finish out their careers.
