| A night portrait of Deutsche Reichsbahn's 0-6-0 steam locomotive Class 89 #1004 on the turntable of the loco shed "Bw Halle P". This "Prussian T 8" was built in 1906. A total of 100 locomotives were built between 1906 and 1909 by MBG Breslau, Orenstein & Koppel and Hanomag. Deutsche Reichsbahn's 2-10-0 Decapod steam locomotive 52 #9900-3, the only preserved locomotive out of a series of 25 Class 52 locomotives which were converted to brown coal firing, can be seen in the background. |
