The CN has gone kind of back to the daylight schedule of L571 leaving Waterloo in the afternoons. Back in 2003 that was a common thing, and it was nice chase into the sun towards Fort Dodge. Too bad the 2018 schedule doesn't see consists like this anymore. 2003 wasn't too uncommon to see 40's mainly west of Waterloo, as they keep the bigger power east for the train size and grades. Lots of this power was scrap when the economy crashed in 2008, but this leader and few others (6200-6204) were saved after being rebuilt in 1998 from the IC 6031, 6151, 6155, 6154, 6146 and have newer electronics. Here L571 has trio of 40's as they hammer thru Austinville on the Waterloo Sub.
