Remarks & Notes
The "Princess", steam locomotive SNCF 231G #558, on a her first public journey since 2009 between Dieppe and Sotteville-les-Rouen in Normandy. This beautiful 4-cylinder “Pacific État” 4-6-2 steam engine was built in 1922 by the “Société Batignolles-Châtillon” in Nantes. There were a total of 289 locomotives produced and 231 G #558 is the only preserved one thanks to the commitment of the ‘Pacific Vapeur Club’.
