Due to work on the Northeast Corridor south pf Philadelphia, the normal AEM-7 and trainset that usually goes to Newark, DE has been put back on the Northeast Corridor to Trenton, NJ. Train #9745 used to regularly have an AEM-7 for power, but reliability issues with the AEM-7 fleet and one breaking down in the middle of a busy Amtrak interlocking caused SEPTA to pull it from this run. Here, #2301 gets a nice bath as a strong summer thunderstorm drenches the Levittown station area. With 3 of the 6 express trains having a new ACS-64 for power now, the days of these old workhorses is on life support.
