| Spending The Day With No. 25 As I Turn 25. While it's extremely rare my parents manage to pull any surprise relating a train-related event off...my Mom managed to do this year. Traveling up to visit them for my 25th birthday, you can imagine my surprise when it turned out she booked me a cab ride in a steam engine - McCloud River Railroad No. 25! I was beyond grateful for the experience and told her I couldn't think of a gift that was more meaningful than this - combining all my interests that day from being with loved ones to doing something train-related. Following a round-trip ride in 25's cab on their 2PM run it was time to say so long...but not before grabbing one more shot of the engine prior to their 4PM departure. |
