Meeting of two old vehicles of the former Berninabahn, now Rhaetian Railway, in Vevey today. Ge 4/4 # 81 of the Blonay-Chamby Railroad Museum, operational again since a few days, built in 1916 by SLM and BBC as Ge 6/6 # 81, was later Ge 4/4 # 181 and came to the Blonay-Chamby in 1970, after withdrawal by the RhB in 1965. On the right Ge 2/2 # 161 of the RhB, built in 1911 by SIG and Alioth as Ge 2/2 # 61 for the then independent Bernina Railway. This locomotive was used as trailing vehicle for heavy trains or for shunting. This day, the # 161 arrived on a road lowfloor trailer from Landquart, as guest locomotive for the MEGA BERNINA festival on the Blonay-Chamby in september.
