Remarks & Notes
During an interuption of the Arlberg railway line in Austria, freight trains are diverted via the Allgäu line through Germany. Near Stiefenhofen, between Lindau and Oberstaufen, 232 # 254 and # 241 (dead) is pulling eastbound EZ 45197 to Hall im Tirol. The 232 series was built by Woroschilowgrad/USSR for the Deutsche Reichsbahn of the German Democratic Republic as V 132 from 1970 to 1982 and has about 4000 HP.

Coal and steel don't go bad. This album features long, slow, heavy freight trains; drag freights, slop freights, dead freights, etc. Trains with lots of power, and lots of different cargo slogging along behind.
