| One would thing that by looking at this image we have stepped back in time to the 90's seeing Big Blue and ATSF power side by side, but this is in fact 2018. Here we see 5 of Meridian Southern Railway's 7 GE B23-7's tied down at their Meridian, MS yard. All in their original paint. The railroad loves these older GE's. They work well and get the Job done. The two Santa Fe units are their newest acquisitions, they arrived on the property a couple of years back and they tend to baby them and keep them close to Meridian. 4270 has apparently received some fresh window tint and a new AC unit. |
