| Santa Fe Lives On in the Desert: For a period, the Southwestern Railroad in southern New Mexico utilized a fleet of ex Santa Fe GP30 locomotives to haul freight, a few of which even kept their Santa Fe paint. Here, we see a trio of GP30s leading a freight toward Deming on a winter afternoon. |
