Remarks & Notes |
BNSF 8204 and a former BNSF SD75M leads the afternoon all rail ore train empties (plus some manifest) west on the Canadian National at Goose Lake, near Eagle Mills, MI. The Former C&NW line typically sees this power make two turns a day currently. The morning run is local freight which makes a turn to Partridge, a small yard about a mile to the right of this photo. This train will drop manifest and empties for the LS&I and pick up any freight and ore loads for an all rail move to Sault St. Marie. this ore moves in former coal hoppers. The trains originate in Gladstone or Escanaba. |
