Waiting out a brief fall shower provided a "pot-of-gold" for this photographer as Indiana Northeastern's only two six-axle locos drip-dry in the afternoon sun in front of the railroad's main office, which once served as the New York Central's Lansing Division headquarters one hundred years ago. Unit 3084 was built at GMDD 12/66 as CP 5527 [SD40]. Unit 3125 was built at EMD 9/69 as SP 9006 [SD45].
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
