As an autorack train shoved into IHB's Blue Island Yard, it didn't take long for me to notice it was no ordinary autorack. Included in the train consist was CRGX 1528, a former ATSF Alco S4. Built in July of 1952, 1528 was owned by Cargill Incorporated and spent its days working in Gilman, Illinois along the old Illinois Central until it was set aside on a stub track for a number of years. The fact that it's strapped to a flatcar gives me some hope that it's found a new owner.
