CNW GP50 5089 leads a UP C30-7 and SD40-2 on an eastbound Falcon Service intermodal train at Sterling, IL. The two year old Geep is one of 50 acquired by the railroad, and the last new 4 axle locos bought by CNW. Although the CNW was not happy with these units, they did go back to EMD for SD50s and SD60s before switching to GE for Dash8-40Cs, C44-9Ws and AC4400Ws.
