Remarks & Notes |
The DM&E boys took over the IMRL in June 2002. 60 FURX SD40-2's were brought onto the property til the purchase of GE Rail supplied 6400's. The units were from San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and 55 were delivered between April 2003 and December 2003. Here a pair of FURX's rolls an extra local west towards Sanborn with KCS empties to spot at 3 elevators in north-west Iowa. The train is working out of the Des Moines River Valley west of Algona, 50 miles west of Mason City. The train will climb the Hobarton Hill here to get out of the valley. |
