On its way from Boston to New York, one of Amtrak's three United Aircraft TurboTrains glides across the Canton Viaduct in Canton, MA, on a summer day. These high speed pioneers operated from 1969 to 1976, when Amfleet deliveries and chronic mechanical troubles led to their retirement.
