It goes without saying that any type of photography is hard in the worlds most secretive state, but not only is finding the chance to take a good photo difficult and subject to the personal whims of railway staff and your appointed government minders, the customs examination on the way out when they check your camera images is just as tense!
This is by no means one of my best images, but its the best from my four days in North Korea and shows one of their domestically built "Red Flag" locomotives painted in some form of celebration (possibly retro?) livery dropping down onto a passenger train to head eastwards from Pyongyang.
