| As I was waiting for the P36 steamer (also called "The General" for its size and power) returning from Vladimir to Moscow with a tourist train on the Saturday night, it was raining heavily. The steamer was late, and all of a sudden it started snowing. And when I thought it may not come at all and was wet and cold to the bone, I have suddenly heard in the darkness the sounds that you cannot mistake with anything else, and The General appeared with grace under the first snow of this year. |
