Due to flooding on the main line near Oregon City, Southern Pacific detoured some intermodal trains on Willamette & Pacific in February 1996. One of the detours passes through St. Joseph, near McMinnville. On the main line, this train would be going 70 MPH. On WPRR, it is an easy 10 MPH.
