For many years, Mr. McCormack has been the individual most closely associated with the care and feeding of the big, SP Northern, which now resides at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center, in downtown Portland, OR. A former UP Engineer, Mr. McCormack clearly enjoys every opportunity to fire the old girl up and show everyone what the glory days of railroad passenger service looked like.
