NJTR Montclair-Boonton Line train 1001 makes its scheduled station stop at Lincoln Park with a Metro-North West-of-Hudson F40PH-3C leading the way. While typically assigned to Main/Bergen and Pascack Valley Line trains, Metro North WOH equipment is commonly seen all across NJ Transit's Hoboken Division.
Two rapid transit lines, PATCO and PATH, take commuters to Philadelphia and New York, respectively. Metro North locomotives and rolling stock often show up on NJ Transit northern lines and SEPTA terminates routes in Trenton and West Trenton.
Motive Power Industries and GMD of Canada have rebuilt the EMD F40PH. These rebuild F40s are slowly fading, but some can be seen in California and Canada.
