With branches hanging from the front truck and rear handrail, Columbus, OH-Jacksonville, FL/FEC train 229 has been plowing more trees than snow over Braswell Mountain. 229 is also providing taxi service, with a couple dogged crews riding in the rear motor. 229 would be the last train over Braswell Mountain for 24 hours, due to the number of downed trees and inaccessibility. NS is currently clear cutting the right of way to prevent future issues.
