| I only had the afternoon free the next day to chase this Holiday Train between Dubuque and the final stop at LaCrescent. Once they left Guttenberg I hoped to get them around Clayton rolling along the Mississippi River. Unfortunately the winter light doesn't allow for much sun along the river. Another than the occasional break for valleys, the line was shadowed in. Here the train rolls slowly north for the next show at Marquette in a small hole of sunlight. |
