Three big, six-motor EMD's move out of the D&H Colonie Shops. Seemingly out of place, with both the D&H and EL being under the N&W Dereco arrangement since 1968 it was not uncommon to see EL power on the D&H. D&H acquired three, ex-EMD demonstrator SD-45's in 1967 but they were soon traded to the EL for three, U-33C's as they were orphans on a Alco and GE road.
