On a cool Fall morning, CSX train Q576 is seen rolling north through New Farmington, Indiana on its way toward Cincinnati as the sun begins to penetrate the morning fog. CSX utilizes trackage rights over the Louisville & Indiana Railroad which provides a shortcut for trains running between Louisville and Indianapolis. It also allows trains such as this one, to bypass the busier LCL Sub in Kentucky by running north on the L&I to Seymour, and turning east onto the Indiana Sub and heading toward Cincinnati.
