| 1800 HP electric locomotive with Bo'Bo'Bo' wheel arrangement for 1500 V DC, built in 1952 by English Electric/Robert Stephenson and Hawthorns, United Kingdom for the New Zealand Railways. The 7 Ew class locomotives were mainly used around Wellington til 1983. The Ew # 1805 is not operational and owned by the Mainline Steam Heritage Trust. |
