Remarks & Notes |
Carrying the symbol of Green Mountain Railroad train 263, a set of light power, VTR SD70M-2 431 and GP38-3 206, headed out of Rutland on January 22 to assist maintainers and Team VRS crews with clearing sidings and switches along the GMRC Bellows Falls Subdivision. The Summit siding switches were cleared on both ends as the set of power is preparing to move a cut of snowbound LPG tanks in storage on the siding in anticipation of placement for customers on the VRS. It did take several attempts and some creativity from the crew but the siding was finally pulled and Team VRS crews went to work clearing the snow from the trackage. |
