This morning BNSF ran a 9k foot train down the Phoenix sub. Id say on average trains run around 5k, with a long train measuring in around 7 to 7k ft. I had planned on going to Grand View anyways, but the train length only made it better. Look close as the rear 38 auto racks blend in well to the surrounding vegetation/colors. BNSF 7925 leads the 9,088 ft Q Chicago to Phoenix intermodal. The autoracks are atypical for this train.
