An abandoned signal watches a Wisconsin Central freight pass thru Oshkosh, WI in January of 1992. The signal, located on 4th and Michigan, used to guard the crossing of the Soo Line and the Milwaukee Road. Somehow the signal was not removed (and remained lit for a while) after the MILW rails came out. There is little evidence of any railroads at this location as the WC (now CN) tracks have also been removed and traffic has been shifted to the ex-CNW line just east of here.
