| Gresley A4 Pacific 60009 'Union of South Africa' fills in for the usual Merchant Navy 35028 on the Bellmond Pullman while it takes it's winter maintenance break. Snow had covered much of the country over the previous 24 hours however much had melted by the afternoon as 60009 tackles Gomshall Bank with the return portion of the Surrey Hills Luncheon. This is due to be the last winter season for 60009 before it is withdrawn from traffic and placed on permanent static display. |
