| Comin' round the bend.... US 152 pours out a lovely plume as she doubleheads with stablemate DRGW 464 on the Huckleberry Railroad's West Loop on a sunny afternoon in January. Although I am not generally a fan of doubleheading locomotives that would never have run together historically, I really like this angle because you can definitely tell it's a doubleheader, but you can't see any of the details on the road engine. Definitely one of my favorite images from the 2019 Lerro Productions Charter. The balloon loops at either end of the Huckleberry Railroad are ideal photo locations because they offer a lot of different angles and the tight curves permit tight shots that include the entire train, as you see here. |
