| With the mercury sitting just above twenty degrees Fahrenheit and the wind gust feeling like needles poking any exposed skin; all that didn't matter for a few minutes as the sound of dynamic brakes echo through Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Union Pacific's Grand Junction to Denver's North Yard manifest train is the only train on UP's Moffat Tunnel Line on this winter day. Here, the UP 2755 East negotiates through Pinecliffe as snow can been seen blowing off the peaks in the background and the smell of brake pads being blown with the wind enter our frigid, cold noses. |
