"Work Car at the Carrollton Transit Station" New Orleans RTA Work Car #29 rests one of tracks inside the beautiful Carrollton Transit Station Trolley Barn awaiting it's next assignment. Car 29 is the last remaining Ford, Bacon & Davis Engineering type Streetcars on RTA's roster. The single truck streetcar served as a passenger car until sometime after 1915 where it was converted to a work car along with a few others while single truck streetcars were being phased out from passenger service. This is the only one to survive.
