Ontario Northland Railway put together a 4-unit, 4-model, and technically 4-scheme consist on the March 2, Englehart to North Bay, Ontario train 214. Leading the consist is SD75I 2105, heritage-painted SD40-2 1730, GP40-2 2202, and GP38-2 1809, and is seen rounding the frozen Cobalt Lake at Cobalt, Ontario.
The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
