| Just a few meters to the finish: 408 224 arrives with the local from Salgótarján with some scrap metal. It gets ever rarer to see this type working on lines, as there are only four of them in MÁV's roaster, just two at Hatvan depot and one is always in Budapest as the crane reserve. The saddest is that the V16 diesels will be gone when they get pulled out of service, we will miss that sound! This shot was my best present for Christmas. |
