Inaugurated in July 2014, the Málaga Metro has two lines that have not yet been completed in its entire route. The chosen light train is the Urbos 3 of CAF. The lines are of standard width, have a length of more than 13 kilometers and serve a total of 17 stations. In 2018, it transported more than 6.3 million passengers, with a growth of 9.75% over the previous year.
